Klockner Pentaplast Engage in Comprehensive Training Programme


The Klöckner Pentaplast Group is a global leader in providing packaging, printing, and specialty solutions serving the pharmaceutical, medical device, food, beverage, and card markets among others. With a broad portfolio of rigid plastic films and services powered by innovation, they play an integral role in the customer value chain by marketing and protecting product integrity, safety, consumer health, and, ultimately, brand reputation.  With the emergence of the plastics industry in the 1960s, Klockner Pentaplast was founded in 1965 and has grown from its initial facility in Montabaur, Germany, to having current operations in 12 countries with 18 production sites. The company employs more than 3,000 people committed to serving customers worldwide.

The South Wales Division, based in Crumlin, has agreed to a comprehensive range of training interventions with the support of the Welsh Governments Skills Growth Wales programme. The training programme starts in July with the anticipated completion of the programme by November 2014. The programme they have asked Maxim to deliver covers the following training and content:

- Negotiation and Influencing Skills

- Train the Trainer

- EAL VRQ’s in Problem Solving and 5S for Shop Floor personnel

- ILM Level 5 Management Award covering Managing Stress and Conflict in the Organisation, Becoming an Effective Leader & Understanding the Management Role to Improve Management Performance

- ILM Level 2 Leadership Award covering Developing Yourself as a Team Leader, Workplace Communication, Understanding Effective Teamwork & Solving Problems and Making Decisions

- CIEH Level 3 Health & Safety
