Course Summary

The desirability of a co-operative approach to Health and Safety legislation I the workplace have been known for many years. H & S Legislation – namely the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Safety Representatives and Safety Committee Regulations 1977, and the Health and Safety Consultation with Employee Regulations 1996 – now require this co-operative approach to be taken. The aim of this programme is to provide delegates with sufficient knowledge to function effectively as employee representatives of Health and Safety in the workplace.

Teaching and Assessment

This course combines group discussions and practical exercises. Candidates will receive a certificate upon completion of the course.

Entry Requirements

There are no set entry requirements for this course although a good command of the English language is essential.

Our training days begin at 9.30 am and end at between 5.00 to 5.30pm depending on the content of the day.
